Taxation Principal
MEYERS, HARRISON & PIA, LLC

Present Position
Harold is a taxation principal in the firm's accounting and taxation department. He is experienced in all phases of income tax planning and preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, as well as estate and gift tax planning. He frequently represents clients under audit by the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Revenue Services.

Academic and Professional Credentials
Harold holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quinnipiac College.  He is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Connecticut.

Professional Affiliations

Harold is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a past member of the Board of Governors, State Tax Committee, Professional Ethics Enforcement Committee; past chairman of the Secondary Schools Committee, and a past president of the Bridgeport Area Group of CPAs. 

Civic Organization Credentials
Harold is an active member of B'nai B'rith International in several positions: International Board of Governors, Vice President of Metronorth Region, President of B'nai B'rith Housing of New Haven, Inc., and Treasurer of B'nai B'rith Youth Organization.  He is currently a board member of Anti-Defamation League of New Haven and member of Cosmopolitan Lodge 125 AF & AM.  Harold has served the community as a former coach of the Orange Soccer Association, Orange Little League, and Babe Ruth League.  He has also been a past member of the Department of the Jewish Education and a board member of Congregation Beth El Keser Israel.
